I need help!!!!

Although we have had four weigh ins, and I have lost an average of a pound a week, I am feeling really frustrated and lost. I'm not sure what meal plan to follow and I had a terrible week with exercising. I'm looking for some guidance. I've noticed that alot of my fellow competitors have recently joined weight watchers, is it worth it? How does the at home program fair compared to the meetings? I have been trying to follow weight watchers on my own, but I'm having trouble staying on track. I've also noticed that alot of you count calories. I need a kick in the butt. My goals for this week, are to focus on counting points and writing everything down. I'm so tired of failing, I just want to do it. Thanks again to all of you that continue to provide inspiration. Wish me luck this week.

  1. Don't get discouraged! Weight loss is flipping hard work and it won't happen overnight. Stick with it is all I can say.

Finding a plan that you can do is also hard. Me? I'm a calorie counter and daily exerciser. I've GOT to expend energy somehow daily to lose. And I can't just go through the motions. I've got to work my ass off. But it's SO worth it.

I just have to tell myself when I'm tempted to go off plan that being in the 100s is going to feel better than any food or rest. I've eaten junk and sat on my ass long enough. This is MY time to do it. And I am.

You can too! I believe that.

  2. hi there. I am a faithful ww girl. I love it, but it was really important for me to find the right leader and group. For me that made all the difference.... I have never done the on line version, but I know several people who have used it and realy .ike it... for me I needed more accountability on the wi each week.
Don't get frustrated. As TJ said, this is a process and if you don't like the process, you won't like the end.. it is a big learning process and even the weight gains that I had during the process were learnings for me.
    Good luck!

  3. Hey there! I am feeling the same frustration and exhaustion that you are. Maybe we're just at that point in the weight loss journey> We have to re-motivate and refocus on our goals and remember why we're on this journey in the first place. And then we need to self-love and think about how awesome our bodies are to us and why we should continue to treat them right. And it is a LONG process but a worthwhile I think.

The eating plan that I do is eating 300 calories every 3 hours. I eat like 5-6 meals/day and eat healthy but small meals. That way my metabolism stays working and I am constantly eating. I also treat it like a bank account and if I eat like 400 calories one meal, then I'll eat 200 calories the next (almost like an overdraft). I just try to do that to keep myself excited about food and constantly eating in some form or the other, while eating small portions. I hope this helps.
